Meet Sam! Born in beautiful Italy, he’s a proud father to three wonderful children and has five amazing grandchildren who keep him on his toes. Sam spent a solid chunk of his life, from 1976 to 2021, diving into the world of retail sales, particularly in the home furnishing industry. But it wasn’t until the 1990s that he discovered a passion for computers and decided to teach himself graphic design, which was quite the adventure! Sam officially hung up his retail hat in June 2021.

Where is he now, you ask?

Well, Sam’s love for music took off again in 2005 when he started performing under the catchy name of Smokin Sam. His passion didn’t stop there; in 2014, he felt inspired to create a space for blues lovers in the Northern Suburbs. After chatting with fellow blues enthusiasts, he proudly became the founder of The Hume Blues Club Inc., bringing people together through the joy of music!
